Headcanon

Aides, or Don as he is often called, is a loner by choice, preferring Hades to the politics and drama of Olympus.


Calm and measured by nature, he is short on patience with anyone not falling under his natural rule. This includes the living and almost all gods and demigods. Except for the very few he tolerates. Like Ares (though he's not quite sure why).


He is used to being overlooked by most Olympian women, and feared by the human ones, hence has formed no lasting ties nor taken a consort.


Contrary to belief he isn't all that fond of pomegranates, and thinks strawberries are a much better fruit for they taste of summer.


Aides is happiest when he has his dog by his feet and a book or a camera in his hands.


Interesting facts:
• Aides does not own a TV nor is exposed to human pop culture
• While he is a wine and brandy aficionado, he cannot get drunk
• As a God, Aides stands 10ft tall. As his human avatar, Don, he is 5ft 8 inches in socked feet
• Since Time is but a path to Death, Aides can traverse it, backwards to and from the current point in time. In other words, he can time travel to the past, not to the future
• Due to the solitary nature of his life, Aides is unused to affection or the expression thereof
• He is quite literal and direct
